About Exciting Engineering
What is engineering? What do Engineers do? This workshop will focus on engineering concepts, and will allow students to recognize the importance of team co-operation, the need for efficiency while problem solving and the value of creativity. Students will morph into mechanical engineers as they work in groups to complete a design challenge… constructing a mouse trap car! They will put their models to the test against the CES speed ramp, measure impact against the wall and race to see which car is most aerodynamic. Kids will be itching to become engineers after this interactive workshop.
