Fruit salad? Lasagna? Stir fry? Ice cream? Students learn scientific back-up behind healthy and not-so-healthy nutrition choices in order to evaluate their lifestyle and habits. The impact of diet on mental and physical well-being will be emphasized and students will discuss digestion, the Canadian Food Guide, metabolism, physical activity and skeletal muscle and bone strength. Become your own dietitian as you discover that you really are what you eat.
